WACACO Minipresso NS, Portable Espresso Machine, Compatible Nespresso Original Capsules

The Wacaco Minipresso NS is a unique brewing device for coffee drinkers on the go. All you need is hot water, Nespresso coffee capsules and a little elbow grease. It works through a semi-automatic piston that injects a small amount of water into the grounds with each press until the correct extraction pressure is reached. While this doesn’t have the convenience of pushing a button and letting the machine do all the work, our test team had no problems operating the pump after several attempts.

As the name implies, the Minipresso takes up very little storage space, whether you keep it in a suitcase, kitchen cabinet or desk drawer. It is also much cheaper than any Nespresso coffee maker. Our testers found it easy to carry in their purses or backpacks and actually called the process of making their own espresso “fun”. Best of all, the coffee was rich, delicious and consistent every time. Just be prepared to hand wash for a minute or two after each use.

To provide more versatility at home, use different capacity tanks to make different types and sizes of coffee. A protective sleeve is also available if you have to travel and bump around a lot.
